Apple cider vinegar for heartburn is a natural remedy that many people have found effective inexpensive and without unpleasant side effects. Does it really work? If so how?
Most treatment plans or recommended ways to reduce heartburn include lifestyle changes along with dietary changes. But as always the leading causes of heartburn vary and the best treatment for heartburn varies depending on the individual. Most common is an antacid that can be purchased over the counter from your local pharmacy.
With the known side effects of pharmaceutical drugs more people are looking for natural cures for high blood pressure. If you have been diagnosed with high blood pressure you may need to take prescribed medication to correct the problem.
Recent studies suggest that acupressure applied to the acupoint P6 reduces relaxations of the lower esophageal sphincter. These relaxations are the major cause of acid reflux. This could be the beginning of one of the most important discoveries ever made for the treatment of acid reflux disease.
Our stomach contains natural acids. This acid is required for breaking down food substances which sorts them to the right places. While we are eating the presence of proper stomach acid is required for proper digestion of the food.
Make no mistake in thinking that yeast infection or cadidiasis is for women only because candida albicans a naturally occurring microbe or fungi has it’s primary and natural residence in your large intestine. Short-sighted actions on your part deplete the beneficial bacteria that keep yeast at bay upsetting the natural bacterial balance. Such an upset allows a yeast overgrowth which if it breaches the confines of your intestines health problems begin to occur.
You know about heartburn, of course. But did you know that persistent bouts may point to a disease called GERD?

September 9th, 2010 at 11:06 am
how does the LES become weak and open?
September 9th, 2010 at 11:36 am
Acid Reflux has nothing to do with structure or form. It is caused by a lack of Hydrochloric Acid which causes food to rot and ferment in stomach because it can’t be digested. The acid that flows up into esophagus is not hyrdrochloric acid but lactic acid

I have a question though. I had the endoscopy done and I was diagnosed with Acid Reflux….I was put on Nexium for a long time and many other acid pills, and it got better and yes everything feels good
But every once in awhile I get tiny mild burns in the middle of my esophagus…is that bad?I mean it’s just mild and tiny burns nothing big big big and I don’t feel dizzy or lose my breath, it’s just a small burn…could that still cause cancer?

it really sucks to have it! for some reason mine are very often associated with burping. i try to suppress it sometimes by tightening my stomach/diaphragm but that only delays it for a moment. and for some reason, it hurts more going down than it does coming up. uhhh! i don’t even really understand why i have it either! i know i haven’t had it all me life!

@lacore1988 No it isnt bad. Milk in a way tends to neutralize HCl thats the reason why the pain passes but if u ve been having this for a long time u should check it out maybe it needs to be treated by medicine.

@ColinMeloy91 greasy food = the bad.. mayo = greasy.. pork = greasy, and most dairy is high in saturated fat.. aka.. greasy.. reguardless if its “cold” doesnt matter.. it isnt a fire burn.. its acid burn.. try poitery its less greasy.. not kfc but baked or boiled.. less mayo.. more mustard.. or try a diffrent type of spread with low saturated fat.. and goat cheese is more nicer then moo cheese for your tummy.. but id say diet change is for you along with other stuff
